How to Start Building your own Therapeutic Wellness Package (Part 4: Detours, they will happen)

Detours – most people don’t appreciate themHard pain not quick – remember that you can not soar to the highest flights of joy unless you have experienced the lowest depths of sadness – one allows the other. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying go out there and be miserable – it doesn’t work that way at all. But going through hard things helps you develop strength, character, and resilience, and each time you come out on the other side of your experience, your courage grows and you can tackle harder and harder things. Trust me, when I look at it that way, I sometimes want to say, oh great – just what I want – harder things. Lol but think of it this way – harder doesn’t mean rougher or heavier – it also means bigger and more incredible… if you’ve only learned to build a gingerbread house, that is not enough knowledge and experience to build an actual house. Also, learning to look at things as learning experiences instead of pain or hardship makes them far more doable. Are they something we’ve created or is our perspective still off on what we’re meant to be doing and it isn’t a detour at allCaution – once you get started with figuring out Parts 1-3 and starting making some progress on your Pilgrimage- you will have a hard time going back to your old way of life. If you’re like me, you’ll have to do it a few times to learn the lesson, don’t worry, you’ve got some good company on people that have done it – the disciples did it after Christmas was resurrected. So you will create your own detours because you’re stubborn and just don’t want to do whatever opportunity lies ahead, you’re scared, or your faith in the process still isn’t what it needs to be. But remember, everything is everything- so no matter how many times you have to go backwards or take a detour, it is still part of your learning process and doesn’t impede your future per se, though it may add time to your current learning experience, but the universe always has multiple irons in the fire so to speak and will get you back on track. As well, it will continue to teach you and will use the experience as more learning. So no matter the detour, keep being positive and moving forward because you’re still on your path and things are still okay. Detours are not roadblocks unless we let them grow to that point. Also, you have successfully navigated 100% of the detours you’ve faced already, so … keep that in mind when the next one shows up.
